What helps
What to put in the first email
How many vessels, what they do, and what you are using now. That is enough for a useful first reply.
If there is one thing that is going badly — rest hours that never get signed, a maintenance register nobody trusts, an inspection that went wrong — say that too. It is more useful than a requirements document.
